I have worked with children and families for over twenty-five years and I never cease to be amazed at their resiliency. What I have learned is that children do cope with life struggles, but increasing the likelihood that they develop positive coping skills often depends on the support that surrounds them. Working with children and adults to recognize their own strengths and to learn new strategies for success remains a focus of my practice.
My work with children has a primary focus in the area of child trauma, child sexual abuse, child interviewing. I also provide services for clients surviving high conflict divorce such as Co-Parenting Therapy, Reconciliation Therapy, Divorce Transition for Children, Therapeutic Supervised Visitation.
The Court ordered Extended Forensic Evaluation process is offered for concerns regarding allegations of child sexual or physical abuse. My consulting services are offered for court cases involving child abuse and forensic interviewing. I have testified in criminal, civil and family cases for both the prosecution and defense.
