My name is Jaime (she/her/hers), and I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker. I provide individual therapy services to adults of all genders seeking support for a broad range of mental health and life issues. I am a strong advocate and ally, and work to help my clients on their path toward healing, acceptance, balance and growth. I am in the process of earning my Doctorate of Social Work (DSW) through Tulane University. Email is the best way to contact me.
I specialize in trauma, depression, anxiety, and gender related concerns. My counseling focuses on validating self worth, creating boundaries and a healthy sense of responsibility, and improving communication. I use a variety of modalities and use DBT, CBT and ACT as fundamental components of my dialog. I do not offer EMDR as a stand-alone service.
I take an approach deeply rooted in Humanistic and Feminist theories. I see each of my patients as the expert of their own lives and take a collaborative approach.
