Hello! I am a licensed clinical psychologist, practicing in Knoxville, TN with Knoxville Behavioral & Mental Health Services (schedule more quickly through our clinic website). I am passionate about clinical work and appreciate the opportunity to join with children, families, and adults in therapy to help them overcome current challenges and plan for future success. My areas of interest include working with teens and adults presenting with concerns related to anxiety, depression, and trauma. I also enjoy working with parents of young children (2 to 7 years old) to improve challenging behavioral difficulties.
I want to partner with you to make changes that will lead to increased joy in your life. I approach therapy with a cognitive behavioral lens and find that clients can make significant improvements when they are given the strategies to address problems. Many of my clients find Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) to be incredibly valuable for improving PTSD.
I work to understand the unique differences of every person that t I meet. I seek to provide a welcoming, confidential space for growth in treatment to take place. I value having a collaborative relationship with clients in treatment. I work best with clients who are open to discussing their difficulties and motivated to reach their goals.
