About
Have you ever reached a place in your life where you have felt stuck and unable to get out of a rut no matter what you do? It's a common occurrence across race, culture, class, gender or whatever other categories we like to use. Things such as anxiety, hopelessness, depression, and lack of ability to navigate interpersonal relationships can serve as roadblocks that keep us get to a place where we feel fulfilled. In a nonjudgmental and safe space, I will work with you to identify these barriers and build the tools and skills necessary for you navigate life and stay on the path toward your personal goals.
Using an ecclectic approach centered around being DBT informed along with Strength-Based, I am able to assist you with assessment of your life, identifying the issues and working collaboratively to develop a treatment plan. I also place high value on viewing treatment through a cultural lens.
Stigma surrounding mental health in many cultures has been shown to present barriers towards accessing mental health services. I'm able to meet in a traditional office setting but can also meet you wherever you feel most comfortable outside of a traditional office setting. I also offer online therapy via video conferencing to fit your busy schedule.
