My clients are often professionals, parents, and high-achievers struggling with anxiety, depression, burnout, trauma, or the weight of difficult life transitions — grief, relationship change, career stress, parenting challenges. Together we explore the thought patterns, beliefs, and emotional habits driving the distress, and build the skills to work with them rather than be controlled by them. My approach integrates evidence-based psychotherapy with mindfulness and contemplative traditions from Zen, Taoism, and Yoga.
My method is integrative — combining evidence-based psychotherapy (CBT, DBT, psychodynamic, existential) with mindfulness and contemplative practices from Zen, Taoism, and Yoga. I tailor treatment to each client's goals and draw on whichever tools best serve the moment: skill-building, insight, guided meditation, breathwork, or hypnotherapy.
I honor the cultural values, lived experience, and worldview each client brings. I strive to create a therapeutic space of non-judgment and acceptance — where you can show up fully, share openly, and explore what feels stuck. Columbia-trained, 22 years of counseling experience.
