I work with individuals, families, caregivers 12+ specializing in issues relating to complex trauma (CPTSD), developmental trauma and transracial/international adoption. My clients often identify as LGBTQIA+, chronic illness warriors, adoptees, adoptive parents, neurodivergent, or a mix of all of the above. I use a combination of Somatic Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), parts work (IFS), and my own lived experience to help clients regulate their nervous systems and regain a sense of internal safety. I help adopted people and their families understand the complexities of the adoption industry and impacts throughout the lifespan.
I am always a human before I am a therapist. I believe in transparency between myself and clients in order to create a strong therapeutic alliance. I will laugh with you and also challenge you to face reality when needed. Just because I'm a therapist, does NOT mean I automatically earn your trust.
