Hi, thanks for stopping by. My degree is Master of Science in Pastoral Counseling from Loyola College (University) in Baltimore, Md. I've been a licensed psychotherapist (LMFT) in private practice for 30 years. I'm also the mother of a young adult, and am married (42+years). My specialties are couples therapy and individual therapy for adults & single parents. I am a Certified Imago Relationship Therapist ('Couples' Dialogue'). I also specialize in reconciliation in relationships. Recovery issues, the grief cycle, vulnerability, and empathy are the primary focus in sessions -- including empathy for oneself.
Active listening, empathy, unconditional positive regard, and mutual respect are priorities in my "talk therapy" style. Client's thoughts and my thoughts fit together like puzzle pieces on a table.
