As we work to balance our time and energy, it is easy to become overwhelmed, fighting to manage our self-care. Whether confronting a medical diagnosis, changes in your body due to aging or menopause, new discoveries about your sexuality, kinks, gender identity or relationships, you may feel depleted. Most of us reached adulthood lacking knowledge about some of the most challenging aspects of the human experience, making it hard to know where to receive support. You are not alone. I provide a nonjudgemental space to explore your experiences and learn tools to cope, with a few well need curses to throw at what we can't control.
Video counseling gives us the opportunity for me to join you on your couch. This can create more comfort and ease in forming a trusting therapeutic relationship and opportunities for some much needed humor along the way. With over 15 years of clinical experience, I work from a person-centered approach to compliment training in Sex Therapy, mindfulness & CBT.
I specialize in issues involving physical/experiential change, whether relating to health, age, grief, gender or sexual orientation. I work with individual adults, couples, monogamous and ethically non-monogamous configurations, heterosexual folks and the LGBTQIA+ community.
