My theoretical framework is whole person focused (biological, psychological, social and spiritual), client centered, strength based and is collaborative/relational in nature. I have 13 years of work experience in the field of mental health and social work and have practiced psychotherapy services for 9 years.
After completing my Master’s Degree I obtained my California Clinical Social Worker license to practice psychotherapy independently in 2017. I utilize evidence based treatment modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused Therapy, Trauma Focused Therapy (TFCBT), Narrative Therapy and Motivational Interviewing.
I also use various relaxation and mindfulness techniques with my clients when appropriate. I have found that our laughter is healing, our tears are cleansing and our human diversity is amazing. I look forward to working with you!
