Dr. McDaniel earned her master's and doctorate degrees from The University of South Carolina. She has provided psychological services for over 12 years in a variety of therapeutic settings including medical centers, community mental health clinics, residential substance abuse centers, psychiatric inpatient units, and partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs (PHP/IOP).
Dr. McDaniel is trained in psychodynamic therapy approaches as well as many evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Cognitive Processing Therapy for trauma.
Blending this diverse training background, she practices an integrative approach to therapy utilizing the specific strategies best suited for each individual based on their goals for therapy and personal preferences. She provides therapy to adults in individual sessions.
