Sometimes life circumstances change, challenges or difficulties arise in one’s personal or professional lives, creating a sense of overwhelm, confusion, or uncertainty. Reaching out for help to resolve these difficulties is both courageous and proactive. I work with young adults and adults experiencing stress, worry, anxiety and depression related to various life transitions and relationship concerns. I help clients better understand their patterns of thinking, feeling, and behaving which provides the foundation and the momentum for making purposeful and lasting changes.
My style is empathic, collaborative, and client-centered. I believe a compassionate and supportive therapeutic relationship is essential; it creates a safe and non-judgmental atmosphere allowing clients to fully explore their concerns, identify their options, and begin to make the changes they seek.
In my work with adults and young adults, the focus may include relationship issues, adjusting to life after college, career uncertainty, parenting challenges, improving communication, job stress, work-life balance, mid-life changes, grief & loss.
