I work with adolescents and adults of all ages to address a wide range of conditions, including anxiety, depression, eating disorders, stress management, ADHD, and life transitions. I have experience with working with LGBTQ+ individuals and individuals of racialized and other marginalized identities. I focus on increasing client’s coping skills, applying inherent strengths, and raising client’s quality of life.
I work from a biopsychosocial, trauma-informed, and humanistic perspective to apply individualized care. I am a board-certified music therapist using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Compassion Focused Therapy, and Narrative therapy. I combine traditional talk therapy concepts with expressive arts therapy in order to explore challenges through a fresh lens.
I am a Mexican-Chamorro music therapist and Associate Professional Clinical Counselor passionate about the healing power of creativity and the arts. I believe in the arts as a tool for liberation, connection to self and body, and community healing. I believe through the art and collaboration of therapy, all people can center joy and foster hope.
