About
Are you feeling stressed, stuck, or even stunned by all that is happening in the world today? Perhaps you’ve experienced a change in relationship, upsetting news or trauma, and it’s taking all your energy to do activities that were once routine. Or maybe life is going as planned, but something’s missing and you’re wondering about the bigger picture. In these moments, finding a professional who wants to understand your point of view and help you find a way forward can make a huge difference. I can help you learn cutting-edge skills to reduce anxiety and depression, improve relationships and live a more joyful and satisfying life.
I provide a collaborative and culturally-responsive space, where we’ll regularly gather wisdom from your best and most important resource - You. With our combined expertise and your hard work, change can happen and you’ll move forward toward living a life that brings meaning and fulfillment.
My primary approach is cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), having learned TEAM-CBT from Dr. David Burns. I also draw from acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), often incorporating mindfulness as well as skills that help with distress tolerance and emotion regulation.
