Hello! My name is Jacqueline Miranda, I'm an LMFT and I have been working in the field 8 years. Some of my areas of focus include working with couples, individuals, and children utilizing a trauma informed approach. I primarily work with children, and I am also comfortable working with adults struggling with depression, anxiety and trauma. My approach tends to be person centered, trauma focused, and humanistic.
I am patient and calm when working with couples and individuals. I like to fully understand my client's perspective and I am very focused on validating their experience through self-empowerment. I feel very passionate about helping people live their most authentic life and best version of themselves.
I believe goal setting is a collaborative approach between therapist and client. I like the client to be in charge of setting their goals so they can have success with completion. During the first session I like to establish rapport with a positive and welcoming environment.
