I have been treating all age groups in the St. Louis area for over 35 years. My in depth training as both a psychologist and psychoanalyst for children and adults provides a full spectrum of skills to treat short and long term issues for all age groups. I am highly skilled at meeting a person where they are to help them, through connection with me and my understanding of them, reach new and emotionally healthier places in their life. In addition to the areas of specialties listed I work with mother/infant dyads and children who are adopted and their parents achieve more satisfying attachments.
I use a variety of skills to help all age groups to fully experience and understand their feelings, thoughts, dreams and fantasies. Having more access to one's inner world promotes deeper awareness of the connection between symptom, behavior, thought and feeling. Once this understanding is achieved a person has a choice in redirecting their path in life.
I work in a very private, quiet, large consultation room to promote a safe, compassionate and close connection needed to help a person begin to find their words for their experience. Once they find their words they can find their thoughts. Once they find their thoughts they can decide which thoughts are useful in helping them to redirect their lives.
