You may have become very good at seeming okay. You show up, take care of everyone, and get everything done, but somewhere along the way you stopped checking in with yourself. I'm a trauma-informed therapist in Bergen County, NJ, offering EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), talk therapy, and mindfulness-based approaches for anxiety and the lasting effects of trauma. My hope is to offer a safe space to slow down, understand what you're carrying, and feel at home in yourself again.
Therapy is personal, so sessions are tailored to you rather than built on a single formula. We might use EMDR to process past pain, make room for open, judgment-free conversation, and practice mindfulness to help you feel grounded, balanced, and steady in daily life.
I show up as a real person in our sessions. We'll have hard moments, and we'll probably laugh sometimes too. Over time, my hope is that you feel less like you're just surviving and more like yourself again. I also provide clinical supervision for therapists in Bergen County, NJ and beyond who are working toward LCSW licensure.
