As a trauma specialist, EMDR and expressive therapies are my go-to strategies for unresolved painful memories. I will help you make meaning of your struggles, celebrate your successes, and guide you to understand how your attachment style allows you to relate to the world.

I specialize in the treatment of trauma, PTSD and anxiety disorders through a person-centered lens with support from approaches supported by empirical therapeutic research like EMDR, DBT, and CBT. I love working with teens, adults in transitional periods, LGBTQIA+ community, folks struggling with grief/loss, and anyone ready to create change and connection.

I hope to assist you with learning and utilizing effective communication/conflict resolution skillsets, self-soothing techniques and an abundance of coping mechanisms tailored to your personal needs. EMDR, short for Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, incorporates the use of eye movements and other forms of rhythmic left-right (bilateral) stimulation (e.g., tones or taps). While clients briefly focus on the traumatic memory and simultaneously experience bilateral stimulation the vividness and emotion of the memory are reduced without risk of re-traumatizing the system.
