Welcome! I’m so glad you’re here. I often enjoy working with clients who are dealing with repressed emotions from past challenging events or trauma. This might look like increasing anxiety, conflict with others, or sadness. Perhaps you’ve been in “survival mode” for most of your life, and now you’re ready to start processing. Maybe you’ve had an idea for awhile that therapy might be a good idea, or maybe you’ve been in therapy your whole life and you’re looking to continue that journey. No matter your story, seeking support is incredibly brave and takes a lot of strength.
I use a variety of modalities- so therapy with me can look very different depending on what your specific needs are. I enjoy bringing a combination of humor, compassion, and accountability support that many clients find very helpful. As a queer therapist, I am passionate about giving back to the LGBTQ+ community, providing support and walking alongside you.
Individual problems do not occur in a vacuum. They are not indicators of personal failure. Using a systemic perspective we will dive into cultural, familial and societal factors, gaining a deeper understanding of the situation in its context.
