Many times, we are put into confining boxes by people or systems who expect us to fit a certain mold in order to be accepted. Attempting to foster your authenticity while maintaining your relationships can be particularly challenging to navigate. I enjoy working with individuals who are facing identity, faith, career and other life transitions. While some clients choose to walk away from religious traditions, I respect my clients’ autonomy and support them no matter where their journeys take them.
I take an individualized approach to therapy, which means I support my clients’ decisions and welcome collaboration. I may utilize IFS, CBT, SFBT, somatic or other techniques based on your needs. As a humanistic clinician, I believe that you are capable of making monumental positive changes in your life and my goal is to accompany you through those shifts.
As a queer affirming clinician, my goal is to provide all clients with a safe space to be themselves. I will continually educate myself on all aspects of your identity and will pay particular attention to how those aspects intersect.
