I strive to provide you with the tools to build and maintain a more fulfilling life. Each person has unique needs and goals in their therapy. I will not just passively listen, but will engage you, share my thoughts, and challenge you when appropriate. I strive to provide my clients an atmosphere of flexibility, acceptance, compassion, and humor. For 15 years I have successfully helped clients navigate life issues. Many people come to me feeling overwhelmed or lacking meaning in their life, while others are experiencing depression, anxiety, grief/loss, trauma/PTSD, relationship or gender issues.
I have advanced training in Gottman-informed couples therapy and have worked extensively with all gender-identifying couples to help them improve communication and overall relationship satisfaction. I specialize in group therapy and run several groups geared toward improving one's relationships and life satisfaction.
The diverse training experiences I received across multiple settings have provided the competency and flexibility to support my clients through a variety of therapeutic approaches. I am currently an assistant professor and chief of psychotherapy with the University of the Incarnate Word's psychiatry residency program, where I supervise and teach residents.

Adult Relationship Group
Group therapy can be helpful for individuals dealing with relationship issues, depression, and anxiety. My aim will be to create a safe environment in which members can observe, understand, and try out new ways of relating to themselves and others. Groups are very effective at helping members become more emotionally intelligent, self-aware and capable of having deeply satisfying and effective relationships.
