What does healing mean for you? That is usually where I start in therapy. I take a person centered approach. If you choose to work with me, we will build a therapy plan tailored to your individual needs and circumstances. I consider clients the experts of their own life and experience, I approach my role as a therapist as one to empower and help guide as we pursue goals we come up with together. I work with adults of all ages and teenagers 13 and up.
My career has been spent working with survivors of trauma. That includes domestic violence, war trauma, sexual abuse, forced marriage, religious trauma, trafficking, and varying types of violence. In addition to working with survivors, I also work with family members, parents, partners, and other effected individuals as they work to navigate this space.
I am trained in both EMDR and ART (accelerated resolution therapy). If you are interested in working with me, I am happy to do a consultation call at no charge. If I am not a good fit, I also know a lot of good therapists and am happy to help you connect with them
