My passions are born out of personal experience and lie in treating individuals with OCD and related disorders, as well as supporting the LGBTQ+ community. In addition to a lifetime of lived experience I come with over ten years of study and work experience in the most effective and evidenced based treatment modalities for OCD, anxiety, panic, ADHD, Tics/Tourette's, BFRB's, trauma processing, and emotion regulation. Good therapy takes work, and I am ready for the job if you are!
I believe that therapy at it's best is an experience. I lean heavily into exposure based and experiential models and I enjoy helping client's leave session with a sense of accomplishment and direction. I emphasize psychoeducation and empowerment in all of my work, and am passionate about providing practical tools and interventions.
Reaching out to a therapist can be intimidating. I hope that you are willing to take that step for yourself and to trust in the therapeutic process.
