Marriage is supposed to feel like a partnership. But somewhere along the way, many couples find themselves living more like roommates — sharing a home but not a bed, going through the motions but not really connecting. Or they're dealing with something even harder: an affair that has shattered the trust they spent years building. I'm a couples therapist who specializes in exactly these situations — sexless marriages, emotional disconnection, and recovering from infidelity — and I use Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), one of the most extensively researched approaches for couples, to help partners find their way back to each other.

Couples therapy is not about negotiating who does the dishes. It's about finding ways to feel deeply connected and heard. I specialize in couples struggling with a sexless marriage, a lack of emotional intimacy, or recovering from infidelity. I especially like working with older couples, helping them navigate the challenges of a long-term relationship.

With individual therapy, I help individuals connect with their own feelings and find an authentic sense of self. Knowing and holding onto your feelings can be very hard, especially if your feelings have been muted by years of trauma, anxiety, or grief.
