Relationships are wonderful. But, there are also times when a couple can feel stuck. They find themselves replaying the same fights and running into the same roadblocks as they try to find the intimacy, love, and connection they once knew. I help couples to improve their communication, and build more emotional intimacy and physical intimacy. Helping them to find that deep sense of love and connection that brought them together in the first place.
Couples therapy is not about negotiating who does the dishes. It's about finding new ways to connect and feel heard. I specialize in couples struggling with a sexless marriage, a lack of emotional intimacy, or recovering from infidelity. I especially like working with older couples, helping them navigate the challenges of a long-term relationship.
I also do individual therapy. I help individuals connect with their feelings and find a true sense of self. But finding and holding onto your feelings can be very hard; especially if your feelings have been muted by years of trauma, anxiety, or sadness.
