I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker and I have been a practicing Clinical Social Worker for fifteen years. Areas of focus in my practice include but are not limited to adolescents, marriage and couples counseling, anxiety, depression, trauma, parenting stressors, divorce, and relationship counseling. I enjoy working with all ages and types of people. My experience has been working with pre-teens, teenagers, and adults and this is where I feel the most comfortable.
My approach tends to be focused on Trauma-informed care. Helping people entails taking the time to assess from all angles what is happening and the best options to help or support someone.
I hope to provide a genuinely safe environment for people to feel free to share their lives. Therapy should be a place where people can have a safe sounding board to work through various things in life that come up.
