My areas of experience include treating trauma/PTSD; I am certified in Prolonged Exposure (PE), and have experience in addressing trauma for special populations including healthcare workers. I am also certified to treat perinatal mood and anxiety disorders (PMADs, PPD, PTSD) and support women through infertility, pregnancy and postpartum periods. I work with LGBTQ+ individuals to address unique treatment needs, including support through gender-affirming transitions. I also help people address depression and generalized anxiety.
I bring a balance of evidence-based treatment strategies along with empathy, transparency, and a touch of humor to our sessions and work on treating your symptoms realistically within the context of your daily life. My approach to therapy is often based in cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), exposure techniques, and mindfulness.
