About
Why therapy for a child? We know that the world can be a challenging and overwhelming place, and it is no different for a child. I can support you and your child to navigate feelings of sadness, anger, fear, and frustration. You may or may not know why your child is having a hard time and certain feelings may be masquerading as challenging behaviors. I can help uncover what may be causing discomfort, fear, anxiety or sadness.
I will work with you, your child, and the whole family if appropriate, to promote long lasting change and to develop a tool kit so that you are equipped to better manage challenging situations in the future.
Having worked in education for over a decade, I have boundless respect for children and parents and for both their capacities for growth and insight. I have worked with many different types of families experiencing a myriad of circumstances. I look forward to working with yours.
