Are you desiring to reclaim your life after a painful loss? Are recent changes in your normal routine have you feeling emotionally drained? Grief is the normal and natural reaction to loss of any kind. Whether it's the death of a loved one, a divorce, career change, a move, change in health, loss of freedom, or any of the 40+ losses a person may experience during their life time; I will walk this journey with you! Also, with 35 years as Substance Abuse Treatment Professional and an Advanced Grief Recovery Method Specialist, an additional aspect of my work is centered in the correlation between addiction, grief and relapse.

I provide a unique specialty: helping people and those who love them navigate the losses associated with the disease of addiction. Grief is often a forgotten need of people recovering from substance use disorders. I'll assist in learning new tools to push through painful emotions and the impact of personal incompleteness generated by loss; and regain JOY!

I take the power of the therapeutic relationship seriously. I will respond to you in a caring, non-judgmental way. This will result in you feeling supported and validated. Helping Children With Loss - Grief Recovery Method

Our Children are Grieving! We can't protect them from pain, but we can provide them with the support they need; being a Big Heart with Ears. Children as well as adults are facing a complex array of emotions due to loss. Our children often don't possess the emotional and cognitive awareness to understand or articulate their grief. The Grief Recovery Method Helping Children with Loss is a 4-week program, providing action steps on how to equip children with life-long tools for healthy grieving. If a child you care about is grieving this is for you.
