I believe that all people can benefit from therapy at one or multiple points in their lives. I enjoy working with adolescents and adults for individual and couple's therapy. Common presenting issues that I work with include depression, anxiety, relational conflict, and trauma. I am particularly passionate about working with young adults, trauma survivors, and new/expecting parents. Ideal clients are committed to attending appointments consistently and are interested in creating meaningful change.
My therapeutic approach is one that is strength-based and operates from the assumption that all people possess the capacity to create change and are the experts of their own lives. I operate from a systems-focused approach and commonly use CBT, SFT, MI, and EMDR interventions in my clinical work. Treatment goals and direction are a collaborative effort.
I consider myself so fortunate to be a therapist and to be a part of my clients' healing process. I truly believe that the most important factor in the therapeutic process is the fit between client and therapist.
