Hi. My name is Jackie and I'm a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Florida. I have over 15 years of experience working with adults and Veterans who have experienced trauma, depression, anxiety, grief, relationship or health issues, and life transitions. It can be scary to reach out for help, especially if therapy is new for you. I believe we all have the capacity to heal and grow, even when life can seem so overwhelming.
My approach is person-centered and compassionate, and I often use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help you develop practical tools for change. I am also trained in other evidenced based modalities such as Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Interpersonal Psychotherapy for Depression (IPT), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I).
My goal is to create a safe and supportive environment where you can take time to make sense of what you are going through.
