Hi! I'm Jackie and my superpower is connecting with kids! I've been working with children from around the world for over 30 years. I believe in a whole-family approach to therapy and love working with caregivers and educators to support growth and change with real tools that really work. I received my MA in Counseling from NYU and a post-graduate certificate in Play Therapy from Antioch University where I discovered a passion for Play Therapy, Child-Parent Relationship Therapy, and Sand Tray Therapy. I'm committed to excellence, and I delight in continuous learning so I can stay up to date with the latest research.
I love helping families learn how to thrive with neurodiversity, especially when they suspect a diagnosis or when there are overlapping challenges. Little kids with BIG feelings are my jam, and I work best with ages 3-8. My favorite part of the work that I do is connecting caregivers with resources and watching everyone's self-esteem and confidence grow!
As part of my promise to support your whole family, I offer a free weekly support group to all clients where I leverage play therapy principles to provide you with a framework for reducing parenting stress while helping your child learn how to self-motivate and self-regulate. Group members also have access to our library of helpful resources.
