Perhaps you struggle with frequent worrying and feelings of restlessness, which interferes with your daily life and your quality of sleep. Maybe you also live with a chronic pain issue or condition, like chronic migraines, back pain, or something else that causes frequent discomfort. You may experience negative, perfectionistic and self-critical thoughts that you can't seem to shake. These feelings, thoughts and sensations can often seem unbearable, unrelenting and paralyzing. At times, you may wonder if you are all alone in these feelings. I am here to tell you that you are not alone and there is most definitely hope.
I work with my clients using techniques that best suit their specific and unique needs, though I tend to draw from CBT, ACT and mindfulness-based perspectives. I use a collaborative, humanistic, and holistic approach to treatment. I do believe that the therapeutic relationship can be a significant force in facilitating positive changes.
I want to make sure you feel seen and heard, as the therapy room is a safe and non-judgmental space. I will be present every step of the way, guiding you and providing the necessary tools to reduce pain, both physically and psychologically.
