Jackie Carlino is a Licensed Professional Counselor specializing in trauma, anxiety, depression, and related mental health challenges in adolescents and adults. Drawing on her own healing journey as a trauma survivor, she offers a deeply empathetic, client-centered approach that blends evidence-based therapeutic techniques with unique animal-assisted and equine-assisted activities on a ranch setting. Jackie works with individuals to process past trauma, build healthy coping skills, and foster resilience and emotional regulation in a safe, supportive environment. She also incorporates tools such as EFT Tapping and other somatic tools
Jackie works closely with horses to help clients learn how to cope with trauma. Horses mimic human emotions showing our true emotions in a way that we cannot hide from. Jackie also uses techniques shown to help with triggers from trauma such as EFT Tapping and Prayer if wanted. Jackie believes that each person should be treated as one whole person.
