About
I believe that people enter therapy with the desire to make their lives happier and more fulfilling, and a great deal of trust is invested in the client-therapist relationship. As such I strive to establish a safe and trusting environment in which change can take place. In my thirty plus years of practice in Marin County I have helped numerous clients understand and dispel deeply held negative beliefs and feelings that get in the way of them reaching desired goals. I bring considerable expertise to my practice, and receive positive feedback for my work with individual adults, couples and groups.
My primary orientation is psychodynamic and I value the importance it places of understanding the underlying issues that contribute to emotional struggles. At the same time I am present focused, realizing that people often need practical advice and direction for dealing with current life decision making.
My "Unique Psychotherapy Groups for Men" have been highly successful since 1993, and provide a rare opportunity for men to meet together in a safe, supportive, and challenging environment to explore a wide range of issues that are effecting their personal lives, their careers and their relationships.
