Welcome! Beginning therapy requires bravery, vulnerability, and strength. I commend you for taking this important step to help yourself heal. My goal as a therapist is to create a safe and supportive environment to help teens, young adults, and adults live happier, more fulfilling lives. I specialize in helping people process and overcome anxiety, depression, OCD, trauma/PTSD, challenging relationships, life transitions, and other issues by developing increased inner-compassion, self-awareness, and healthy thought patterns.
The basis of my practice is Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, which helps people gain awareness of their thought processes, feelings, and actions in order to function more successfully. I also use EMDR, IFS, as well as mindfulness to help people build cognitive and emotional resources and process trauma. I employ ERP in my treatment of OCD.
