I’m a Certified Sex Therapist (through AASECT) and a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in both WV (LMFT) and OH (IMFT). I specialize in working with people who have experienced neglect, abuse, or loss and are having a hard time with their relationships because of it. Sometimes this calls for individual work. But not too surprisingly, it often involves couples therapy. While a particular focus of my work is alleviating sexual shame that’s rooted in religion, I like helping anybody who has been hurt and can't just "get over it."
As a Sex Therapist, people also see me for intimacy concerns, such as painful sex, orgasm problems, desire differences between partners, erection changes, or questions about orientation. If this is you and you're feeling self-conscious talking about it, please know that I use a confidential, HIPAA compliant platforms, and am really used to talking about sex.
I take your concerns seriously. And I offer LGBTQIA+ affirming care, welcoming people of all identities, faith backgrounds, and relationship structures.
