Jac sees individuals, couples and families. Jac works from a trauma informed, harm reduction focused lens with careful care to support clients in finding their own path towards healing. Her 10+ years of social work experience allows her to bring empathy, authenticity and humor to her work. She believes in a holistic and collaborative approach, supporting clients to integrate and connect their minds, bodies and spirits.
Jac has a systems theory overview; working with individuals and couples using a foundation of attachment theory and emotionally focused therapy. Jac loves working with people from all walks of life, and is particularly interested in working with the queer community and non monogamous/polyamorous couples.
Jac holds a graduate degree in Clinical Social Work from University of Minnesota-Duluth and an undergraduate degree in Community Organizing and Change from Portland State University. Jac is also a trained mediator and has experience in nonviolent communication and somatic techniques. Jac is currently being trained in emotionally focused therapy.
