My focus areas include trauma, attachment, depression, anxiety, grief / loss, and executive function. I want to promote a safe space to process and navigate relationships, inner child trauma and other circumstances that have impacted core beliefs and self-attachment. My goal is to support you in the realization that you are your greatest untapped resource. You are capable of achieving creative capacities through hidden potentials. The idea of brokenness does not discount your ability to experience healing. I will utilize generous listening and compassion to promote authentic connection as we embark on the journey to inner healing.
In approaching counseling, I feel no single approach can treat all clients in all situations. Therefore, I practice an integrated approach that encompasses a more diverse approach to fit your individual needs. I promote person centered therapy, as well as a strengths-based perspective that emphasizes the positives in life.
The therapeutic relationship combined with a collaborative approach is a key component in the process of change. I realize that the therapeutic relationship includes trust and I will practice patience, persistence and a safe and judgment free approach in pursuing this process.
