Announcement icon I will be seeing clients using video teleconference or phone call during this time. Select clients are seen in the office as needed.
I provide services in two areas of specialty. The first is adults and adolescents who are feeling trapped by anxiety, fear, unwanted thoughts (or memories), and other distressing emotions related to anxiety disorders and trauma (e.g., fear, guilt, shame, sadness). The second is parents or caregivers of infants and/or toddlers who are struggling to handle their children's intense emotions and unwanted behaviors.
I specialize in evidence-based cognitive-behavioral treatments for anxiety disorders (e.g., obsessive-compulsive disorder; panic disorder) and posttraumatic stress disorder. I also provide attachment-based parent-coaching for caregivers of infants and toddlers to help them become better regulated in the moment and into young adulthood.
Struggling with anxiety and the pain of past traumatic events is profoundly distressing. Similarly, lacking confidence in one's parenting can feel overwhelming and lonely. Confronting intense emotions and being open to parent-coaching requires vulnerability. My therapy can offer a safe space to face these challenges and discover an effective way forward.
