My name is Andy Martin. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor or LPC. I enjoy helping people locate their own sources of strength and power to live their best life. I have been a therapist for over 24 years, and I specialize in addiction work, although I see a wide variety of people with challenges like depression, anxiety, and stress management.
I have worked with a very wide variety of clients over the last 24 years. My practice has always been based in small towns and more rural areas – places where there aren’t a lot of therapists to choose from. This has allowed me to “wear a lot of hats” and become comfortable with many types of people.
I have found that most clients want someone “down to earth,” and that’s how I try to be. I try to avoid a lot of “clinical talk” and have conversations that lead to a collaboration between myself and clients. I trust my clients to know themselves better than I do, and I hope to help clients find solutions that fit their unique lifestyles.
