Ivy Creek Therapy is a group of kind, experienced clinicians who help shift stuck patterns from relational or life stressors for teens, adults, and families. People tend to work with us because of our compassionate and deeply attuned approach. Our practice is rooted in evidence-based care such as CBT, DBT, EMDR, ERP, and EFT (helpful info about the acronyms can be found on our website!) We’re intentional about ensuring you feel seen, understood, and genuinely accepted throughout our time together. Our specialty areas include OCD, ADHD, trauma, substance use, grief, complicated family dynamics, and improving communication skills.
Together we explore the habits, insecurities, stressors, traits, and patterns impacting your life. We offer constructive insights and thoughtful guidance to support your needs while keeping it real with humor, warmth, and radical acceptance. In a confidential and protective space, our clients get to build resilience and grow in self-awareness and confidence.
Our beautiful, modern offices are on the ground floor in Walnut Creek with ample free parking and serene views of evergreens. We're walking distance from Forma Gym, Philz Coffee and a block from the highway. We also offer telehealth sessions throughout California and Utah.

DBT Skills for Teens
Teens often have to navigate tough emotions, difficult pressures, and challenging relationships. In this group they learn to respond in ways that feel healthier while handling stressful situations with more confidence. They get to practice communication and coping tools in a safe environment with peers who are doing the same. DBT skills include distress tolerance, emotion regulation, interpersonal effectiveness, and mindfulness. Sessions are weekly and interactive, while focused on real-life strategies that your teen can start using right away. We also develop 'SMART goals' that are implemented throughout the 8-week cycle.
