I have over 38 years of experience helping individuals understand the causes of their emotional difficulties and helping them to make changes that fit their unique needs. I provide a safe environment where together we can explore the barriers preventing you from living the life you want.
In my practice, I treat individuals with a variety of concerns, including relationship issues, anxiety, depression, self-doubt, a sense of emptiness and lack of meaning in their lives. I help immigrants with issues of identity, loss, and grief, and victims of major traumas such as sexual abuse.
I teach and supervise therapists throughout the Bay Area. I am a personal and supervising analyst at the Psychoanalytic Institute of Northern California (PINC) and am on its faculty. I offer treatment in English and Hebrew.
