I am a down to earth, compassionate therapist who believes the key to successful therapy is finding someone you click with! I value the relationship I build with my clients. My evidence based approach is grounded in creating a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients can feel fully heard and understood no matter their identity or background. My background is in trauma informed care, anxiety, depression, self esteem, mood regulation and mood disorders, working across the lifespan and a variety of other areas. In session I like to incorporate a mix of cognitive behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, person centered therapy, and mindfulness skills.
The first therapy session with me will be laying the ground work for what brought you to therapy. Then as a team we will work to identify the areas of your life we can work on healing and learning new tools to cope. Therapy will be tailored to suit YOUR needs, and get you to a place of healing.
