As a couples/partnership therapist, my goal is to understand the positions from each partner in the relationship and to facilitate communication that leads to greater understanding. It is NOT to impose my own views of what your relationship should be or to pick sides. Let me help your couple/partnership, if you are navigating challenges with: Communication, Intimacy, Infidelity, Family/life transitions, and Cultural/Linguistic differences. I am passionate about exploring couples' families of origin, various environments, and identities (each and every aspect of your identities) and how they impact your individual and shared lives.
I work with adult couples (from their early 20’s to late 60’s) that include, but not limited to, multicultural couples/partnerships in which members may identify all along the sexual orientation & gender identity spectrums. My approach includes Narrative Therapy, Family Therapy, Attachment Theory, Emotionally Focused Therapy & Gottman Method Couples Therapy.
In my work, I am firmly committed to co-creating a space that is anti-racist, supportive of the LGBTQIA+ and disabled communities, and a place where anyone can feel welcome, seen, heard, and valued.
