Employed in the field of social and mental health services for 30 years. Working in a variety of settings has offered me the opportunity to understand human behavior and in general what makes people tick. This may sound odd to the lay person but my vast working experiences in places like foster care, drug and alcohol, mobile mental health services to children in their own home has truly prepared me to get a really good sense of how to get to the root of the problem and provide the necessary support to clients not strictly coming from an academic viewpoint.

Drawing on extensive training and background, I offer a widely varied range of treatment specialties in an interactive emotionally present therapy supporting my client's personal growth and well being as they learn techniques to reduce stress, clear the mind of fears and illusions, connecting to their own needs and feelings. My experience confirms that the expertise of the therapist is important, but equally vital is her depth of caring. I approach each client with an eclectic and open mind, drawing on techniques from Structural Family Therapy for Marital and Family problems, Cognitive/Behavioral, Mind/Body, Psychodynamic, Jungian-Oriented Dreamwork, Existential/Humanistic, Hypnotherapy.

Anthony's specialties are working with individuals who suffer from depression, anxiety, ADHD, obsessive compulsive disorder, and various forms of addictions.

I work individually with adults to help with issues related to life-transition (e.g., moving to a different country, transition into parenthood, career changes, etc.), anxiety, depression, body image, and relationship problems. Dr. Weicker was originally trained as a medical doctor " La Sapienza" University of Rome Italy in 1988. After moving to the United States in 1989, she embarked upon a new career in brain and colon cancer research at RI Hospital- Brown University for 4 years and a Thomas Jefferson for 2 years. Dr. Weicker also has been a College Professor in Anatomy and Physiology Pathophysiology, Nutrition and Herbs and Medicine college courses for 20 years, Penn State, Alvernia University, and Lehigh Carbon Community College. She has since earned a Master's Degree in Health Care from Alvernia University in 2004

Being a parent is a scary &exciting lifelong journey.The journey begins as a new mom learning to balance this new role without losing yourself.Needing support is never something to be ashamed of.Sometimes our thoughts& emotions can make us believe that we are failing while trying to adapt to these changes.I will work along side you to move past this obstacle. As your child grows, other challenges may arise along this journey. I am also here to support parents whose child has just received a mental health diagnosis. Receiving a diagnosis can be overwhelming& sometimes we don’t know where to start.
