In my professional capacity as a licensed social worker and psychotherapist, I have had the honor to accompany persons of all ages and backgrounds in their quest for insight and self-discovery. With that in mind, strategies and interventions in achieving clearly defined yet dynamic goals arise through a process of critical inquiry. In this process, I have witnessed individuals redefine and recreate who they are as they move toward greater lucidity and self-fulfillment.

Laura can help a client by showing them effective coping skills and teaching them effective ways to communicate their emotions. Outside of work, Laura enjoys gardening, painting, playing video games, and spending time with her cat, Ben.

Life has become an endless string of chores. You've gotten good at smiling on the outside, but internally you're just going through the motions. As an Italian-American immigrant and expatriate with extensive training in Social Work and Psychotherapy, as well as over 20 years in the Corporate world, I bring a lot of life experience to my work as a therapist.
