Hello, how are you? This is Dr. Pezzini, an Italian American Clinical Psychological Associate, all throughout California. Sessions are online, via Telehealth. I have been working as a psychologist for over 25 years combined. I specialize in relationship transitions and adjustments, for high profile individuals. I am interested in treating people whose potential is hindered by negative concepts of themselves imprinted in childhood (through traumatic experiences or neglect of basic emotional needs) and who frequently suffer from symptoms like chronic depression, anxiety and low self-esteem. I am committed to helping these individuals attain a sense of self that brings them happiness and fulfillment. My basic perspective is that the human mind possesses the capacity to heal itself, if guided in the right way. I have explored various methods and approaches to helping the mind restore its basic wholeness.

Rather than list my technical skills or present a diatribe about my approach to psychotherapy, I will tell you a few significant facts about myself and the work we will do together. I have been providing treatment for 30 years. My clients improve, they recover, and they heal. I assist people who suffer from anxiety and depression through insight and introspection focused on the analysis of a patient’s deep-seeded fear-related trauma and how that fear impacts the NOW . I focus on channeling the energy that can be harnessed from fear, a powerful human emotion that can rob us of our life energy.

This is a very unsettling time for many and being able to help my clients find their footing in such an uncertain time is my passion. I work with clients struggling with anxiety, depression, addiction and trauma. My approach is to provide a safe, non judgmental space for growth to occur. I am comfortable working with individuals and couples, and often explore and help resolve maladaptive patterns, cognitions, and intimacy issues that many people struggle with. I help clients identify their goals, develop a plan, and encouragement and accountability to implement that plan, tweaking along the way if needed.

As a therapist, I am committed to empowering clients to live their best life, have meaningful and loving relationships, and most importantly, in the words of Virginia Satir, "help them have stars in their eyes and truly feel their own value." At times, as we move through the different stages of our life, we find ourselves stuck due to our unproductive internal dialogue of shame and guilt, the need to be perfect, and the daily attempts to be who the rest of the world wants us to be. This leads us to feeling broken and unable to love ourselves or truly connect with others.

I am a licensed Clinical Psychologist, Clinical Sex Addiction Therapist - Supervisor, and licensed MFT with a private practice in Santa Monica, California since 1994. I offer interpersonal psychotherapy with individuals, families, and groups as well as psychological testing and assessment. Mr. Robenson Dorvil is a doctoral student who practices individual and family therapy under his supervisors for almost 2 years, specializing working with children and adolescents. He currently attend the Chicago School of Professional Psychology and works with Outreach Concern to provide school-based, counseling, and support services for many children in elementary, middle, and high school in the areas of Southern California. He works closely with his supervisors to provide support and treatment in developing behavior performance management for children in academic, social, emotional and other personal issues. He is diligent, great listener, and patient in working with clients.

Dr. Michael Chindamo is a Psychologist in California who has been practicing since 2009. He has a PsyD in Clinical Psychology from Ryokan College, an M.A. in Counseling from the University of South Florida, a B.S. in Neurobiology, and a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Rochester.
