I enjoy working with adults to help them develop understanding and perspective to deal more effectively with the issues, dilemmas and stressors of modern life including anxiety, depression, chemical dependency, and the unresolved issues of traumas and grief.
My experience and expertise include the use a variety of modalities and tools which have helped my clients increase their awareness and coping skills in the areas of chemical dependency/recovery, codependency/recovery, stage of life and relational conflicts, issues of spirituality, issues of sexuality and issues of childhood and adult trauma.
My graduate training includes an MA in Counseling Psychology with an emphasis in Depth Psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute. I am trained and certified in EMDR, meditation and mindfulness based practices and other somatic psychotherapies, in conjunction with traditional Psychodynamic and Cognitive approaches.Additionally I am a longtime student in the Ridhwan School/Diamond Approach.
