We are all working to be the best version of ourselves, that is at the core of what centers myself and the focus in therapy. I strive to encourage clients to help them overcome obstacles in their lives while helping them develop lasting coping skills to do so. Having spent time as an Academic Advisor and working in the Nonprofit world, my strengths are to assist in creating an environment of empowerment. In addition to my work, it has been a privilege to watch my family grow over the years. I wear the “Girl Dad” badge with pride. I work with individuals who are working to navigate ADHD, anxiety, depression and personality disorders.
I enjoy working with adolescent and adult populations while utilizing humanistic, cognitive behavioral and solution focused approaches to counseling which respect an individual's strengths, build upon existing capabilities, and encourage autonomy. The therapeutic models I use vary according to the unique needs of the individual.
