What often brings people to therapy are troubles with unknown parts of themselves. I offer a warm, collaborative experience through which to encounter and more deeply understand these dimensions. I’ve found it is through this understanding that one can move from suffering toward a more expansive sense of possibility.
My focus includes working with anxiety, depression, and the general sense of not having reached one’s potential. I specialize in areas relating to the female body, including fertility, somatic issues, eating disorders, and the experiences of being a mother and a daughter.
I work from a culturally sensitive perspective and have particular interest in helping people navigate issues of biculturalism and immigration. One focus of my practice is working with people of SWANA descent.
